Administration Denounces 'Democratic Hoax' as Further Epstein Estate Images Made Public

Democratic lawmakers have released a new tranche of what they termed "alarming" images from the property of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The initial drop of 19 photographs—a portion of which have been seen before—plus another 70 released later on Friday constitute a tiny fraction of the approximately 100,000 images handed over to the House investigative panel, which is examining the conduct and connections of Epstein.

The shamed investor was a victim of apparent suicide in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking crimes.

Notable Figures in the Photos

Featured among the high-profile individuals visible in the opening set are celebrities such as movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin empire.

Donald Trump appears in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are redacted.

White House Reaction

The White House reacted to the release in a statement, charging Democrats of selectively "hand-picking" the pictures for partisan aims and to "try and create a false storyline."

"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked," a White House spokesperson remarked, maintaining that "the Trump administration has accomplished more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats have ever done by consistently demanding openness, making public numerous documents of records, and urging further investigations into Epstein's liberal connections."

Congressional Democrat Comment

The photos were disclosed devoid of explanation, but per a California Democrat and senior member of the investigative panel, they elicit additional doubts about Epstein's associations with the rich and powerful.

"Now is the occasion to end this White House concealment and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his influential associates," he said in a statement.

The disclosure of these documents comes as the House panel continuing its inquiry into the affair.
