Much like bad weather swept through the north-west the prior day, Manchester City overwhelmed Manchester United away at the Etihad Stadium. It was a emphatic three goal win for their manager's side due to goals from Knaak, Shaw and Hemp. It was a display that clearly signaled their title credentials as they reinforced their position at the WSL pinnacle.
